Description: NTS-LA is a biannual regional number theory theory conference located in Los Angeles. While each meeting with feature two plenary talks by
faculty and one plenary talk from a graduate student from outside of Southern California, the majority of talks will consist of 20 minute contributed talks. The purpose of these
meetings is to establish a community of people interested in number theory in Southern California, to allow faculty at institutions that do not have funds for regular seminars to
attend high-quality research talks, and to provide a friendly environment for students and faculty to present their research.
NTS-LA is funded for the 2019-20 academic year by grants from the
NSF (DMS-1852797) and NSA.

If you are requesting support and are a US citizen or permanent resident, you will need to complete a W-9 and submit this to me. The sooner this is done, the sooner you will get your reimbursement. (Preferably it is done before the conference!) A link to a fillable W-9 can be found here. This only needs to be done once per year.
If you are requesting support and are NOT a US citizen or permanent resident, you will need to fill out the following form and return it to me. This must be done at least 10 business days before the conference or you will not be eligible for reimbursement. Once this form has been submitted, you will receive an e-mail from the Glacier system. It will address you as if you are an Occidental student, but you need to go through registering with Glacier to be eligible for reimbursement. The sooner this is completed, the better. This only needs to be done once per year.
Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.
